BETSY PAYNTER, Executive Director
Betsy is a Danbury native, a proud graduate of Danbury High School. She currently lives in Newtown, CT with her family, dog and two cats. A graphic design major from Southern CT University, Betsy has worked in marketing/creative environments. Her marketing career began in The World Wrestling Federation creative department, followed by working for consumer packaged goods marketing agencies. She ran national marketing campaigns for brands such as P&G, Nestle, Miller Beer, and Nabisco. Recently, she has been marketing communities, working in economic, community and business development. Previously, serving as Economic and Community Development Director for both Newtown and Brookfield communities. Now, Betsy is a proud member of the CityCenter Danbury team. Her goal is to help grow downtown Danbury to a thriving, vibrant community for residents to live, work and play!

ANGELA WONG, Events & Development Director
After graduating from Cornell University and working as a biomedical engineer for several years, Angela realized that she wanted to spend more time with people instead of laboratory mice. While in Madison, Wisconsin she discovered her love of food & photography, which blossomed while working as a freelance food photographer for local publications and restaurants. She now writes a food blog at TheCuriousMouse.com, is highly involved in local Danbury groups such as Get Downtown – Danbury and Connecticut Young Professionals, and she is in constant pursuit of her next culinary adventure. She currently resides in Downtown Danbury with her husband, James (and hopefully soon, a dog too).

JEANNINE USHER, Office & Social Media Manager
Jeannine Usher is from Rockland County, New York. She has been living in the Danbury area since 1996. Prior to joining CityCenter, Jeannine has worked at Ethan Allen Inc, Sprint, ENTEX, and PaperDirect. Jeannine has over 14 years of residential Real Estate experience as well. She attended the State University of New York, College at Oneonta where she received a Bachelor’s degree in English. Jeannine has been at CityCenter Danbury for over 7 years. Jeannine is a busy Mom to a 12 year old daughter, and 7 year old twins. Jeannine and her family reside in New Milford.

Erik Carr grew up and went to schools in Danbury, including St. Peter’s, Immaculate High School and W.C.S.U. Erik enjoys coaching for the Bethel Youth Soccer Association. Erik and his wife, Renee and son Cameron live in Bethel, Connecticut.
Hobbies: Watching & playing soccer
