Welcome to CityCenter Danbury!

Welcome to CityCenter Danbury!

Danbury has always been a place about community and nowhere can the community celebrate with all its citizens better than Downtown. CityCenter Danbury is home to the CityCenter Summer Series Concerts on the Green, the Danbury Farmers’ Market, the Taste of Greater Danbury, Halloween on the Green, Light the Lights, First Night Danbury, and the MadHackers Conference!

CityCenter is accessible by bus and train with adequate parking for those who come by car in either of the spacious parking garages in the heart of Downtown. We are also within walking distance of Western Connecticut State University (WSCU)'s Midtown campus and Naugatuck Valley Community College (NVCC)'s Danbury Center.

At CityCenter, we are striving to create a place where the community can gather and celebrate, engendering the developments of arts and culture and we invite you to take in Downtown.

Are you a bargain hunter? There's the Salvation Army, many Brazilian fashion boutiques offering high style at very affordable prices, and several dollar stores that the kids always enjoy.

Need to run errands? It’s easy downtown! Our district has fantastic walkability! You can shop at the Family Dollar, mail a letter, get a haircut, and go ice skating, all within a short walk from each other!

Are you a foodie? Does the idea of foreign cuisine or exploring markets for authentic ingredients for that new recipe appeal to you? Downtown is chock full of ethnic restaurants and markets if you are interested in Brazilian, Dominican, Polish, Ecuadorian, Salvadoran, Mexican, Peruvian, Chinese, Colombian, Italian, and of course, American food.

Bring the kids to experience arts and culture. The Danbury Public Library, the Danbury Ice Arena, the Danbury Railway Museum, A Common Ground, and Escape to the Arts all have enriching programs for the younger set.

Enjoy the Music! Beside the CityCenter Summer Series, there are ongoing efforts to transform Danbury into a music city. The Palace Danbury, The Danbury Library, and Heirloom Arts Theatre all offer live music.

Come visit us and enjoy what we have to offer!
