Meet the Staff
After graduating from Cornell University and working as a biomedical engineer for several years, Angela realized that she wanted to spend more time with people instead of laboratory mice. While in Madison, Wisconsin she discovered her love of food & photography, which blossomed while working as a freelance food photographer for local publications and restaurants. She now writes a food blog at TheCuriousMouse.com, is highly involved in local Danbury groups such as Get Downtown – Danbury and Connecticut Young Professionals, and she is in constant pursuit of her next culinary adventure. She currently resides in Downtown Danbury with her husband, James (and hopefully soon, a dog too).
Amy is an accomplished marketer who brings a refreshing practicality and positive energy while guiding our marketing, social media and orchestrating our downtown events. With over 15 years in brand development, Amy has advised numerous Fortune-500 clients on best practices and executed large-scale campaigns, including NIVEA New Years’ Eve in Times Square. She is an active volunteer for The Scotty Fund, a charitable organization that provides support to families facing critical illness. Amy holds degrees in Public Relations and Advertising from Eastern Kentucky University. She is happiest traveling with her husband Shawn, hanging out with their two sons, and their half-obedient dog Fenway.
Erik Carr grew up in Danbury and attended St. Peter School, Immaculate High School and W.C.S.U. He manages the care and beautification of our historic downtown and prepares the district for events throughout the year. When he’s not working, Erik enjoys coaching youth soccer and watching the NY Mets.
